  Appalled by the actions and language of a local business owner tonight as we sat with our family, along with other families, and ate dinner in Angier. We witnessed a highly upset father (who was also there dining) trying to defend his teenage daughter from being verbally/sexually harassed by a male co-worker. After he tried to speak with the owner about it, things turned sour. During our dinner, my husband had to intervene in TWO domestic altercations, the male co-worker & father, as well as the father & the manager. The manager trespassed the father & was yelling profanities inside and outside the restaurant, threw money outside and fired the teen girl, all while our kids heard & witnessed this. Very unprofessional, despite the circumstances or reasons behind it all. The other gentleman apologized to us, the manager never did. The table next to us said that would not be back and we feel the same. The waitresses were obviously very embarrassed and were trying their best to distract the kids at the tables. As we all know, there are always two sides to every story and I am not discounting that fact, however, if you manage a business, much less a FAMILY business, you should treat it as such at all times.
